MW4 class builder and weapon reference
COD Loadout is an unofficial class builder for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Pick a launch weapon, plan up to 5 attachment types plus its Apex Attachment, name each attachment, add perks, equipment and a field upgrade, and copy a link that restores the same class. The builder also shows the Player Level a class needs.

Frequently asked questions
Which Modern Warfare 4 weapon is the best?
There is no official answer, because Activision has not published damage or time to kill. Community sites rank them instead: two lists on the tier list page put VEL 46, ISO Nightshade, M4 and others at the top, with their own methods, and they disagree with each other.
How do attachments and stats work?
A weapon takes up to 5 standard attachments plus one Apex Attachment, and some Apex Attachments block certain attachment types; the builder enforces that. Activision has not published attachment names or effects, so the 615 names and the stat changes come from community sites and are marked community-reported in the builder.
Is COD Loadout official?
No. It is an unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Activision or Infinity Ward.
How do I share a class?
Use Copy link in the builder. The address stores the weapon, attachments, Apex Attachment, perks and equipment, so anyone who opens it sees the same class.
Where do the numbers come from?
Fire rate, magazine, reserve, weapon levels and unlock levels are from Activision's launch posts of October 2026. Attachment names, movement, handling, recoil and ammo values, builds and tiers are community-reported and unverified, and labelled that way. Damage and time to kill are not published, so they are not listed. Data and assumptions lists every source and gap.
