Type 73 camos in MW4
The Type 73 has 18 camos on its own track: eight Military camos from weapon level 12 to 61 (of 65 levels), three Special camos, Gold, Platinum and Harmonic Break, and four Pyroclast camos for Weapon Prestige.
About the Type 73
Activision describes the Type 73 as heavy Korean LMG inspired by Soviet designs; slower to handle but hard-hitting at medium and long range. Its Apex Attachment, the Type 73 Assault, top-mounted magazine kit loaded with explosive rounds: limited capacity, very high stopping power. The Type 73 takes 9 attachment types (optic, muzzle, barrel, underbarrel, magazine, rear grip, stock, laser, and ammunition). Military camos
Military camos unlock by reaching a weapon level, in Multiplayer or DMZ, and the level differs by weapon. On the Type 73 the first comes at level 12, the same as the median first level for LMGs. The gaps between camos run from 6 levels (before Military Camo 8) to 8 levels (before Military Camo 4), 7 on average. Its last Military camo sits at 94% of its levels, the third lowest share among the 3 LMGs; the lowest is the FiNN LMG at 90%.

Special camos
The Type 73 has three Special camos, each with its own challenge: Ash Pine, Outcrop, and Foxtrail. The challenges open at weapon levels 23, 45, and 65, the last at the 65-level maximum. Complete a challenge once and the camo can be used on every weapon.

Completionist camos
Gold, Platinum and Harmonic Break come after all Military and Special camos on a weapon. Platinum and Harmonic Break use the challenge of the weapon's class, so every LMG has the same two. Platinum on the Type 73 also needs Gold on every other LMG: FiNN LMG and APOC-338.
