APOC-338 camos in MW4
The APOC-338 has 18 camos on its own track: eight Military camos from weapon level 9 to 51 (of 56 levels), three Special camos, Gold, Platinum and Harmonic Break, and four Pyroclast camos for Weapon Prestige.
About the APOC-338
Activision describes the APOC-338 as belt-fed LMG with devastating firepower, a slower cyclic rate and punishing recoil. Its Apex Attachment, the APOC-338 Praetor, ten-round high-grain belt replaces the box feed and locks the gun to semi-auto: lighter profile, heavier hits. The APOC-338 takes 9 attachment types (optic, muzzle, barrel, underbarrel, magazine, rear grip, stock, laser, and ammunition). Camos are equipped in Create a Class, under Edit Custom Class and Camo Select.

Military camos
Military camos unlock by reaching a weapon level, in Multiplayer or DMZ, and the level differs by weapon. On the APOC-338 the first comes at level 9, earlier than the median first level of 12 for LMGs. The gaps between camos run from 4 levels (before Military Camo 4) to 7 levels (before Military Camo 3), 6 on average. Its last Military camo sits at 91% of its levels, the second lowest share among the 3 LMGs; the lowest is the FiNN LMG at 90%.
| Unlocked | Camo | Weapon level | Levels after the previous camo | Share of the maximum level |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Military Camo 1 | 9 | +9 (first camo) | 16% | |
| Military Camo 2 | 15 | +6 | 27% | |
| Military Camo 3 | 22 | +7 | 39% | |
| Military Camo 4 | 26 | +4 | 46% | |

Completionist camos
Gold, Platinum and Harmonic Break come after all Military and Special camos on a weapon. Platinum and Harmonic Break use the challenge of the weapon's class, so every LMG has the same two. Platinum on the APOC-338 also needs Gold on every other LMG: FiNN LMG and Type 73.
| Unlocked | Camo | Needs first | Multiplayer challenge | DMZ challenge |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gold | All Military and Special camos on this weapon. | Complete 15 eliminations in a single Multiplayer match. | Complete 100 eliminations in a single DMZ match. | |
| Platinum | Gold on all 3 LMGs. | Get 3 Player Kills without dying 15 times | Get 3 Enemy Kills without taking damage 50 times | |
| Harmonic Break | Platinum on all 33 weapons. | Get 2 Player Kills without releasing the trigger 25 times | Get 2 Enemy Kills without releasing the trigger 75 times |
