PPSh-41 camos in MW4
The PPSh-41 has 18 camos on its own track: eight Military camos from weapon level 11 to 57 (of 62 levels), three Special camos, Gold, Platinum and Harmonic Break, and four Pyroclast camos for Weapon Prestige.
About the PPSh-41
Activision describes the PPSh-41 as veteran SMG with the highest rate of fire of the launch roster and a generous magazine. Its Apex Attachment, the PPSh-41 Ember, underbarrel launcher that fires a rapid burst of pyrotechnic projectiles which keep burning briefly for area control. The PPSh-41 takes 8 attachment types (optic, muzzle, barrel, underbarrel, magazine, stock, laser, and fire mods). Camos are equipped in Create a Class, under Edit Custom Class and Camo Select.

Military camos
Military camos unlock by reaching a weapon level, in Multiplayer or DMZ, and the level differs by weapon. On the PPSh-41 the first comes at level 11, the same as the median first level for SMGs. The gaps between camos run from 6 levels (before Military Camo 2) to 8 levels (before Military Camo 4), 6.6 on average. Its last Military camo sits at 92% of its levels, the fifth lowest share among the 5 SMGs; the lowest is the ISO Nightshade at 89%.

Special camos
The PPSh-41 has three Special camos, each with its own challenge: Blackwell, Iron, and Currents. The challenges open at weapon levels 20, 41, and 62, the last at the 62-level maximum. Complete a challenge once and the camo can be used on every weapon.

Completionist camos
Gold, Platinum and Harmonic Break come after all Military and Special camos on a weapon. Platinum and Harmonic Break use the challenge of the weapon's class, so every SMG has the same two. Platinum on the PPSh-41 also needs Gold on every other SMG: ISO Nightshade, VEL 46, Wz.55 Striga, and X-58 Nyx.
