Launch content

• Multiplayer launches with 33 weapons, 33 Operators, 20 maps and over a dozen modes, with progression through Level 55 and beyond. The weapon list in the notes has the 33 weapons that this site covers.

Weapons

• Weapon tuning: the notes say SMGs are now more efficient in close to mid-range combat, powerful one hit kill weapons are tempered with flinch and damage tuning, and all weapons had a balance pass. They print no values for this tuning. Attachments were also tuned, and Advanced Weapon Stats are available at launch.
• Weapon Prestige: if a player prestiges a weapon, all attachments on it, shared attachments included, become locked and the weapon moves to a classic level system. Shared attachments stay unlocked on weapons that have not been prestiged.

Perks

• Battle Hardened more effectively negates most effects of Tactical grenades such as Flash, Concussion and Screamer Mine. Resupply provides its first recharge faster. Blood Rush now triggers Tactical Sprint when the sprint key is pressed, by default.
• Perk 1: Quick Fix, Overkill, High Alert, Ghost, Resupply, Kill Chain. Perk 2: Hardline, Blood Rush, Bomb Squad, Fast Hands, Ninja, Birdseye. Perk 3: Lethal Reach, Combat Grid, Battle Hardened, Scavenger, Tracker, Cold-Blooded.

Movement

• Tactical Sprint is not available by default and lives on the Blood Rush Perk in tier two. The extra sprint-out penalty is removed for it, and the default input is a single tap run, with double tap and single tap sprint options still available.

Spawns

• Further iteration on player separation, squad spawning and Hardpoint spawn predictability.

Killstreaks

• 17 Killstreaks at launch, each attachable to individual Multiplayer loadouts. The higher Killstreak costs from the second Beta weekend remain, so UAVs cost 5 kills, or 4 with the Hardline Perk. Wheelson pathing and targeting were reworked to be more aggressive.

Equipment

• Create-a-Class includes 9 Tacticals, 11 Lethals and 12 Field Upgrades. Flash and Concussion effective range and duration are slightly reduced. The notes print no values.

Events

• Weekly Challenges will not be available in Season 1. Infinity Ward says it is focusing on a variety of events instead, with Apex Attachments, Weapon Camos, Calling Cards and Operator Skins among the rewards.

DMZ

• Addressed on October 20: crash and stability fixes, a fix for the After-Action Report showing 0 XP after a first match, and a fix for the DMZ issue with the ISO Apex Attachment. Addressed on October 21: Dog Tag Case, Toxic Intercept Op, a PC performance issue with the Heartbeat Sensor, and several text and audio issues.

Names this site does not match to a weapon

• "ISO": The DMZ list says "Fixed an issue where the ISO Apex Attachment would not function as intended in DMZ." The notes say "ISO" only. The launch list has the ISO Nightshade, but the notes do not say which weapon they mean, so the fix is not matched to a weapon.

What this update does not say

• The notes print no units for damage ranges, damage values and damage multipliers.
• Values the notes do not list are unknown here. A weapon missing from the tables was not listed as changed.
• Where a row has no before or no after number, the notes print none and no percent is calculated.
