Axion camos in MW4
The Axion has 18 camos on its own track: eight Military camos from weapon level 10 to 62 (of 69 levels), three Special camos, Gold, Platinum and Harmonic Break, and four Pyroclast camos for Weapon Prestige.
About the Axion
Activision describes the Axion as subsonic rifle with a slower rate of fire and strong stopping power at most ranges; subsonic rounds hide enemy skulls on kills. Its Apex Attachment, the Axion Clearcut, chainsaw-style rear grip with a handlebar foregrip, hip laser and canted aiming for mobile, hip-fire play. The Axion takes 9 attachment types (optic, muzzle, barrel, underbarrel, magazine, rear grip, stock, laser, and ammunition). Camos are equipped in Create a Class, under Edit Custom Class and Camo Select.

Military camos
Military camos unlock by reaching a weapon level, in Multiplayer or DMZ, and the level differs by weapon. On the Axion the first comes at level 10, the same as the median first level for assault rifles. The gaps between camos run from 7 levels (before Military Camo 3) to 9 levels (before Military Camo 2), 7.4 on average. Its last Military camo sits at 90% of its levels, the third lowest share among the 8 assault rifles; the lowest is the M4 at 89%.

Special camos
The Axion has three Special camos, each with its own challenge: Splinter Rock, Sunset Tropic, and Cyan. The challenges open at weapon levels 23, 45, and 69, the last at the 69-level maximum. Complete a challenge once and the camo can be used on every weapon.

Completionist camos
Gold, Platinum and Harmonic Break come after all Military and Special camos on a weapon. Platinum and Harmonic Break use the challenge of the weapon's class, so every assault rifle has the same two. Platinum on the Axion also needs Gold on every other assault rifle: Han 86, M4, Hyeon Burst, Patriot XMR, Kastov 762, Oden, and Cronen Squall.
