Activision's launch weapon sheet gives the Axion 705 RPM and a 30-round magazine with 90 reserve rounds. It unlocks at Player Level 52 and has 69 weapon levels. Among assault rifles its fire rate ranks 3 of 8 and its magazine ranks 1 of 8. Activision describes the Axion this way: Subsonic rifle with a slower rate of fire and strong stopping power at most ranges; subsonic rounds hide enemy skulls on kills. Its caliber is .300 BLK. Its Apex Attachment is the Axion Clearcut. Chainsaw-style rear grip with a handlebar foregrip, hip laser and canted aiming for mobile, hip-fire play. It blocks optic, laser, underbarrel, stock, and rear grip attachments.
