Every MW4 weapon has the same camo ladder: 18 camos per weapon, plus 10 that belong to the whole account. This page lists the unlock level or challenge of each one for 33 weapons and keeps a checklist you can tick as you go.

## Camo checklist

Tick a camo when you have unlocked it. The checklist saves in this browser and works across every page of this tracker, with no account and no network request. To move your progress to another device, copy the progress link and open it there.

The checklist has 18 boxes per weapon (33 weapons) and 10 account camos, 604 in all. A box means the camo is unlocked, so a Special camo counts when its challenge is finished, not when the challenge opens.

Activision's post describes Divergence as awarded for completing 33 Harmonic Break challenges, and it gives each Mastery challenge as one count with no weapon named. The checklist therefore lists Divergence and the Mastery camos once, not once per weapon.

## How the camo ladder works

Activision published the order of the ladder and the rules for each step on 19 October 2026. The numbers that differ from weapon to weapon are not in that post and come from community sites, as the next sections show.

## What is not published

- Activision's post publishes the Military camo levels for one weapon, the Han 86, and the Special camo challenges for the Han 86 and the Sang 9mm. The other 31 weapons come from community sites.
- The Warzone Mastery challenges are marked classified in Activision's post, and Activision says they are revealed in Season 1.
- Activision's post does not say whether Divergence and the Mastery camos unlock for every weapon at once or one weapon at a time. It describes Divergence as awarded for completing 33 Harmonic Break challenges, so this tracker lists them once for the account.
- The DMZ number for most Special camos is not reported by any source read here. Activision says DMZ counts non-player enemies and asks for more kills than Multiplayer, so the Multiplayer number is not the DMZ number.

## Frequently asked questions

**Q: How many camos does each MW4 weapon have?**

A: Each weapon has 18 camos on its own track: 8 Military camos, 3 Special camos, the Gold, Platinum and Harmonic Break Completionist camos, and 4 Pyroclast camos for Weapon Prestige. 10 more camos belong to the account: Divergence and the three Mastery camos of each of Multiplayer, DMZ and Warzone.

**Q: Does my camo progress save, and how do I move it to another device?**

A: Progress saves in this browser's local storage on your device and is never sent anywhere. The Copy progress link button makes a link that holds the whole checklist in its address. Open that link on another device and the page shows your progress and offers to save it there.

**Q: Are Military camos different on each weapon?**

A: Yes. All weapons have the same eight Military camos, but the weapon level that unlocks each one differs. The first Military camo comes at level 6 on the weapon that needs the fewest levels and level 13 on the one that needs the most.

**Q: Do Special camos count in Multiplayer and DMZ?**

A: Yes. Activision describes one camo grind shared by all modes. A Special challenge adjusts to the mode you play, and because DMZ counts non-player enemies it usually asks for more kills. Once a Special camo is complete it can be used in every mode and on every weapon.

**Q: Which camo data is official?**

A: The ladder, the unlock rules, the Mastery camos and the Weapon Prestige camos are Activision's. The weapon levels, the Special camo names and the per-class challenge numbers come from CODMunity and Boss Services and are marked community-reported on the page.
